Demographics Served

MY CURRENT ROLE... allows me to teach art to multiple demographics. On a monthly basis I work with senior citizens through the local nursing home/extend care facilities and the VA Hospital. On a monthly basis I also work with children who have developmental behaviors. During the school year I work with rural school students, local adult students and the local after school program. In the summers I work with the local kids during the summer art program. The Art Centers website is: www.ccac.milescity.org

Dump Day

I should of snapped a photo of the 2 huge dump loads. But I think I'll take a picture of the awesome Kohler cast iron sink that we found. Paid $1.00 for it. It has a few minor chips in the enamel. I am going to try and repair them. If they can not be fixed we'll shop Home Depot for a comparable $300.00 model.

Sam is ready to go Wednesday morning. I snuck over early Wednesday and tore up some of the carpet in the kitchen. A test tear. The layers were foam carpet, glue, linoleum, glue, tar paper, glue. You can see the sludge application that demolished the final layer of glue and tar paper. Marie is scraping away. The kitchen sink, toilet and claw foot tub are all out. We are going to get a new (bigger) kitchen sink. We will reinstall the tub and toilet after we tile the bathroom. We are going over today to scrap more walls and re-plaster the cracks.
